My Story

I discovered yoga at a Boston gym in the late 90s, but it wasn't until I moved to Las Vegas in 2001 that I began to consistently study the practice. During almost a decade of living in the desert, I regularly studied and practiced traditional Ashtanga yoga and eventually fell in love with the Anusara yoga system. I also completed multiple teacher training programs and became a licensed massage therapist. In 2007 I started teaching public yoga classes in Las Vegas, and since returning to the Boston area in 2009 I’ve completed well over 500 hours of teacher training.

My approach to teaching is simple — let’s move together and make the yoga poses work for our unique bodies. I encourage creative exploration within the shapes we make, and I draw upon my background in anatomy to help show you how to work in different ways compared to the status quo. My classes tend to move at a slightly slower pace so we can take notice.

I have 2 kids, 3 dogs and a cat. I enjoy reading and listening to audiobooks and I love to spend time outdoors going on long walks, gardening, and using my push-mower.
